What Is Your Dream Travel Location?

Experiencing the world is at the top of my, “Yes, please!” list. And though I’ve been blessed enough to spend some time in far-flung places like Bacolad, Philippines and Reykjavik, Iceland, I’m always pining away for my next adventure. Sometimes when I share this with friends, I hear responses like, “I wish I had lots of money to travel.” What? Did you just say that? I don’t have lots of money. But I do have lots of creativity, which is just as good (okay, almost as good).

Because travel opens us up to new ideas and challenges our notions about how things should be done, I believe travel, even if it’s across the country, can be an intensely provocative experience. New York and L.A. are so vastly different geographically and culturally from each other, it’ll feel like you visited two countries in a span of a six-hour flight.

If you’re scratching your head wondering why I’m talking about travel on a beauty blog, it’s because life is more than lipstick. And according to this study, a new journey is a powerful anti-aging “serum”.

I want to expand what we discuss here – maybe some fashion, a bit of travel,  health and wellness, and of course, beauty, because we all want to look beautiful whether we’re heading to the grocery store or hopping a red eye to Beliz .

So, with the summer approaching consider this: where would you like to go on vacation? Stop. Take a moment. Allow yourself to dream. Don’t entertain the whispers inside that say, “But I can’t travel because ______________________.” If there is a will, there is a way.

Need help planning? These five award-winning travel bloggers show you how it’s done, whether you’re a college kid with limited finances,  a family of four with an autistic child, or a single African American school teacher. I believe you can do this! Before you board the plane, be sure to order our nourishing Renewal skin-care. It’ll keep you moisturized in those dry cabins. And you won’t have to fret about TSA giving you a hard time. We’ve got 1 oz travel sizes! Bon Voyage!
