Todra started the Healthy Beauty Project last summer. An excerpt from her blog explains what the Project does:
What is The Healthy Beauty Project? We’re an educational space where you can learn the latest trends and breaking news surrounding the flourishing natural and organic cosmetics industry. We’re also a how-to site with articles and professionally edited videos covering everything from choosing the best red lipstick for a heart-thumping holiday look, to caring for naturally curly hair without the use of chemicals.
Our “on the road” beauty trips spotlight posh day spas, nail salons and hair spas that operate with a green focus. If you live in New York City, Los Angeles or anywhere in between, keep your eyes open for great green beauty establishments. And send us an email. We may just come to your town to shoot.
We love highlighting the hundreds of healthier, natural options available in cosmetics. Although The Healthy Beauty Project doesn’t sell these niche cosmetics, we put a lot of effort into making sure consumers, like you, know they exist and try their products. These small, family-owned brands have a fresh take on personal care products. Without the use of harsh chemicals and unkind manufacturing practices, these niche brands are able to create wonderful makeup, skincare, hair care and body care that work just as good as, or better than traditional brands; all while making sure your body and our planet stay clean and healthy.
Through the use of written blogs, photography and video,The Healthy Beauty Project hopes to not only educate you about the importance of using non-toxic cosmetics, but we also hope to entertain you, as well. Please stop by often.
Last week, The Healthy Beauty Project posted about healthy, natural foundation on her blog and featured Eve Organics Dark Warm Foundation on the model she used for the shoot.
