I am way behind the times. Believe it or not, I don't own an I-Phone. . . which I've heard is almost unheard of right now.
I was reading Allure magazine this month, where they tested some Beauty apps that are available on the I-Phone. Two of them worked fairly well.
The first one is called HairMixer (cost $1.99). If you take a picture of yourself and pick any celebrity whose hair you want to try, it will transform your look and give you an idea of what you'd look like before you chop those locks!
The second app is called MakeUp (cost $0.99). This app also uses a picture of you stored on your phone. You pick the colors of makeup you would like to apply to your face and voila! The testers said it was hard to place the makeup on flawlessly, but it definitely showed which colors appealed on your skin tone, etc.
It's worth a try if the I-Phone is part of your life. Let me know if any of you are experienced with these. How cool!
