A Recap of Eve Organics Beauty's 2016 and a Preview of Things to Come in 2017

Is Christmas really a week away? It seems like it sneaks up on us every year and these last few weeks of the year are just a blur of work; but of course, we love it. Lots of work means all of you are loving what we’re making and that’s why we do it, right?

With the end of the year so close, I think it’s a good time to recap what we worked on in 2016 and what we’re excited about in 2017.

Of course, the biggest endeavor we undertook was creating a new, more modern website. If you’ve ever worked on creating a website, you know the dance of balancing design with functionality. It was a lot of days and nights of brainstorming, designing and coding. And then there was getting every product photographed and uploaded. This should not be approached by the faint of heart, that’s all I’ve got to say. But now that it’s up and nothing’s breaking, we’re very excited about it. And about the feedback we’ve gotten from all of you on it. We’ve received so many cyber hugs and accolades that made our day. Thank you all for that.

The next big reveal for us in 2016? Drum roll, please: our embrace premium collection of serums. These new high potency serums are packed with the latest and best ingredients for your skin’s health. Vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, algae, kojic acid and peptides just to name a few, work to brighten skin, fight signs of aging and repair sun damage. We’re proud to offer such a high level of skin treatment that is, as usual, natural and healthy.

On the makeup front, we introduced what you’ve been begging for ―pressed mineral eye shadows. As successful as our loose shadows have been, many customers, including the makeup artists who use our brand on shoots, wanted shadows that were easier to apply and to transport. The new pressed shadows blend easily and can be “built” up for more intensity. Pop them in our new four pan eyeshadow/brow magnetic palette and toss it in your purse without concern for spills. It’s wonderful on vacation.

There’s so much more coming in 2017, including several new products that are in the making and an ambassador program so you can sign up to try new prototypes and give us product feedback. There’ll be great perks for ambassadors who take to Twitter, Facebook and other sources to shout out about us.

Our team will be in Los Angeles at the Indie Beauty Expo on January 18, 2017. Stop by if you’re going to be there. We’d love to say, “hello” in person.

Here’s wishing you and those you love a healthy, happy, safe New Year!
